Who says life isn’t all that perfect!
After taking countless photos of my cat, whom I adopted from the local shelter, I decided to make a film about him. I spent a lot of time filming and carefully observing my cat to create different images. Likewise, I live nearby the forest, where he likes to hang out, and where he regularly catches mice and brings them to my house; it is his territory.
Nature can be cruel in emotional life, but as a survival strategy, I try not to interfere too much with my daily way of thinking about him as a cat. The question started with, ‘How did you take the photo?’ Since it does not reveal all the secrets behind the image, it is a play of nature.
I am currently editing the film in Simba’s natural habitat.
